In addition, the tie-bars applied to the shoulder blocks create a closed structure that reduces noise in regular driving conditions.

Superior Transverse Drainage
The high-performance drainage design controls block deformation to improve contact with the road. Safer wet road driving is achieved by minimising the tyre contact gaps caused by concave deformation for 7% improved wet braking and 4% improved wet handling over the previous model.
